Taffy

Here's my Taffy cat. He is an old man cat. All he does it sleep (on top of me most of the time) and eat. He goes outside for about 10 minutes each evening. He pulls on the blinds to let me know that he wants to go out, then meows at the door when he wants to come in. He is such a cuddly kittie!

Red Hats with Mom

Mom and I went to a Red Hats luncheon at a tea room in Stillwater. We had an enjoyable time and had delicious food, too!

Puppets and Kim

Here I am in the library at my school with a couple of puppets. I was taking pictures of all the puppets I have in the library for use by teachers. My assistant took this picture of me with two of them.

Sox

Here is Sox sitting on the back of my chair under the lamp. She keeps warm under that light. If she isn't sleeping on the back of the chair, she is on my lap or right next to my laptop on the arm of the chair! She is such a sweetie!

Cheering Kori

I rode with Cindy to see Kori cheer at a couple of basketball games. She makes the perfect cheerleader!

Ellie

Here's a picture of Ellie with her new "baby" bear. She loves to squeak the squeaker and chase it around the house when I throw it.

Branson - Dec. 07

I went to Branson with my friend Lauren S. after Christmas. We went to see Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede show - it was wonderful! We did a lot of shopping at the outlet malls. This picture was taken at the new lake (river) side mall near downtown Branson. It was so nice! We both made purchases at great prices.

Merry Christmas 07

We celebrated Christmas at Mom and Dad's house in Stillwater. We got to visit with Lauren and Nick via videoconferencing on Lisa's computer. Dad's arm is in a sling because he slipped on the ice and broke his wrist a couple of days before Christmas.

December 07 Ice Storm

We had an ice storm the first week in December 2007. I took a picture of my tree with the Christmas lights shining through the ice, some pictures of trees at my house and in my neighborhood, and around Tulsa. It was quite devastating. Happy Anniversary!

Lauren and Nick celebrated their first anniversary (a little late) by eating the top of their wedding cake. I had saved Lauren's bouquet for her to throw again - in the trash! They are so happy! Love you two!

Thanksgiving 07

Mom fixed a yummy Thanksgiving dinner for everyone. We enjoyed getting to spend time with each other, especially Kori and Kelsea!

Lauren and Nick Nov '07

Lauren and Nick surprised everyone with a quick little visit the Monday after Thanksgiving. They came over to see us while they were visiting Nick's grandfather, who was ill. We were so glad to get to see them, even if it was only for a few hours. We love you guys!

Gus

Gus is my baby cat. He came to my house via Owasso Feline Rescue in the summer of 2006. He is a big, furry bundle of love. He loves Ellie (my dog) and rubs up against her letting his tail run under Ellie's chin. He is very talkative, and has a quite grumpy sounding "meow." He lets Sox wash his ears and face every evening. He is such a big baby!

Miss Viola Swamp

I portrayed Miss Viola Swamp after reading Miss Nelson is Missing to students in Pre-K through 2nd grade. It was loads of fun!

Fall '07 Camping Trip - Keystone

Lauren S. and I went on a camping trip at Keystone State Park. We had a great campfire, and then the next morning we kayaked on the lake. It was really windy!
